Winemaking Techniques:  The vineyard produces low yields, with very high quality berries of outstanding flavor. The Moratto Vineyard shares a similar microclimate with the Gamba Estate Vineyard, allowing slow ripening during the growing season. Sugars reach optimum levels by harvest time, typically in late September to early October.

Tasting Notes:  Cool climate, big dark fruit character with rich smooth tannins.
