Russian River Valley
/

Varietals:  Pinot Noir, Dijon & Pommard Clones

Appellation:  Russian River Valley

Winemaker:  George Levkoff, learned at Williams Seylem

Winemaking Techniques:  Influenced by adjacent dairy; Hansen Farms; Unfined/unfiltered and unpumped; uses the method of gravity. The preference is toward low alcohol and low oak flavor.

Cases Produced:  83

Tasting Notes/Reviews:  "Medium red. Cherry and raspberry aromas are complicated by musky herbs and dried flowers, with an exotic hint of black cardamom. Chewy and a bit undifferentiated on the palate, displaying cherry and berry skin flavors and good back-end lift. Needs some time to knit, but the finish is gently sweet and nicely persistent."
